Megan and Dave’s wedding on Saturday was so much fun from start to finish! What can I say, I started the day by meeting with the groomsmen for cocktails at the Kilt and Clover in PortDalhousie, and from that moment on it was nothing but laughter, stories and a few tears! (Even I found myself slobbering on the camera... again... bah, I really need to get some control over that!) The bridal party wore fall colours and the flowers glistened autumn, it was almost as if I was at my own wedding again... it was wonderful! The waterfront wedding was a tad frosty, but never distracted from the overwhelming love felt between the bride and groom. Congratulations Megan and Dave, I had a wonderful time on your wedding day, you are a perfect pair!

Lindsay & John: Niagara Maternity Photographer
Lindsay and John are such a sweet couple. I obviously love to photograph friends of mine, but in the same way, I love just as much to photograph people that I have never met before. There is something that is so exciting and fun about the element of the new. New people, new stories, new experiences. And, although Lindsay and John were new friends, within an hour it was almost as if they were already old friends. We were laughing, chatting and sharing stories pregnancy. I can tell already what wonderful parents they are going to be and just how lucky this little monkey is to have such great people to call mom and dad!

Jen & Chris: Niagara Wedding Photographer
A good snapshot stops a moment from running away. ~Eudora Welty
Jen and Chris are a perfect example of the beauty of capturing a moment. Chris is the son of my mother and late father-in-laws best friends. I have heard many wonderful stories about Chris and Jen, but, busy lives interfere and until our engagement shoot, I never had the pleasure of meeting them. When they asked me to photograph their wedding, I was honoured and humbled. The bride and groom are from the Muskoka area, and so naturally an engagement location with water was a must! Where better to show off the beauty of the Niagara region then right here at Port Dalhousie. It was a wonderful afternoon, Port was deserted and the perfect backdrop for this fabulous couple! I can’t wait for their wedding in November!

Julian: A little game of Mr Dressup!
It seems there is never a dull moment in our home... atleast not with a 22month old running around! I must admit though, I love every moment of it... everything is so new and fantastical through the eyes of a child! I found myself with a broken child proofing lock to the closet the other day, and the next I knew there was a full-fledge game of Mr Dress Up going on... it was wonderful... I don't think I've laughed this hard in a long time! I hope you have a little chuckle too!
